This will be a reprise of our Leadership Development Workshop from September. Join us by Zoom to learn about how to use a free online graphics design program and how to add pages, posts, and events to our chapter’s WordPress website. You can prepare for the workshop by watching the videos here.
The purpose of the workshop is to share and build communication skills. In particular, participants will learn the following skills:
- How to use a free online design tool (Canva) to make graphic images
- How to make pages and posts in a WordPress website
- How to use the free version of The Events Calendar to schedule events
- How to use a free plugin to embed event notifications in pages of a WordPress website.
- How to promote events
- How to create a communications plan.
You can get a jump-start on these lessons by watching the videos below. Workshop participants will then use those skills to make some posts and pages and plan and publicize events! The more you prepare for this workshop, the more we can get done during the workshop. So bring your ideas for events (and your laptop!).
