IMprint – August 2021

Happy August! This month is coming with our annual picnic that we had to skip last year, a great opportunity to meet our members, their family, and our Leadership Team in person safely.

We are expanding the in-person activities with new possibilities: attend tennis tournaments (US Open, Laver cup), basketball games, led by fans who know all the ropes, or attend private classical music concerts. See more details in this issue.

Are you yourself interested to share a passion or a hobby? Please come forward! This might match with other’s interests and create new connections.

Of course, we will continue the online events, with happy hours, poetry, and more.

JOIN OUR ANNUAL PICNIC, 8/8 at 12pm!

This will be our big moment to breathe all together in open air, in a very nice location with many tables, a BBQ, a
shelter, and a huge playground. We plan to have many activities for all ages and we will have a squad of smiley
people to ensure that everyone will feel welcome and have a great time. You can also bring your non-Mensan
family!

For 21+ only: we will have liquors to share of various kinds and we will cheer together! We are always interested that our members participate in a way, by bringing some food to share, and some games as this will increase the possibilities to enjoy our gathering. Check for more details in this issue. But the most important aspect is: come and join the party!

Also, if you come early, at 11am, you can attend our ExComm meeting in person.

In this issue, you will see articles from new contributors, the ExComm reports, the Jewel Awards update, information on activities and more. Don’t hesitate to reach out and contact us if you wish to submit an article.

Enjoy the reading and hope to see you at the picnic!

The others

There are too many other social media groups that I can’t give an explanation for them but I do have the links https://www.twittercom/AmericanMensa/,

If you follow these links for most of them you would find a repleca of these for Mensa International except for Chess.com because it is Mensa International.
