Oration Against Catiline, by Marcus Tullius Cicero
December 5 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Virtual Event
These were a series of four speeches that Marcus Tullius Cicero gave in 63 BC to denounce Lucius Sergius Catilina’s conspiracy to overthrow the Roman Republic, after he repeatedly failed to win an election. The first speech begins “Quo usque tandem ubutere, catilina, patientia nostra?” (When, o Catiline, are you going to stop abusing our patience?)
